Teens 4 Teens is a youth governed educational, support, and advocacy group. Youth who have been homeless, runaways, in State's custody or any youth interested in helping at-risk youth are encouraged to participate in this Peer Education Program. Youth coined the term of their group, "Asylum" as a safe place to address the needs of at-risk youth.

The Peers have secured funding from the National Football Leagues' Junior Quarterback Program, the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Partners for Youth, and the Bluegrass Community Foundation.

Youth projects in the community include: creating a teen hotline, a mural on Lowell's Toyota building (may be viewed in the parking lot of Third Street Stuff), a play about youth issues, and they regularly walk the streets of Lexington searching for homeless youth to assist them to safe shelter and other community resources.

Youth recently attended the National Network for Youth Symposium, where they visited Senator Mitch McConnell's office. Youth told their story of living on the street, their fear of trusting adults, and the positive change they experienced when they received services from M.A.S.H. Services of the Bluegrass
